Is it every other Saturday like last year? Just curious for future planning.

Yes, it is every other weekend. Tech in is 1:00 to 3:00 and they are trying really hard to have racing start before 4:00 so don't be late! Entry fees have gone up to $40 since their skidder guy quit and the new guy charges more. Seems to do a good job though! I got an email from Nicole Smoot today and she is bringing the "Tarrantula" out again. It is a 350 powered Jeep with some modifications for farm usage... they raced it last year and somehow got lined up against Josh Krebs even though they are nearly stock 350 power. Luckily for them, Krebs distributor was turned and he didn't realize it and they almost beat him. At least they didn't get stomped!

Yeah, there is a cover charge to watch but I don't remember what it is. Probably $5.

BTW I forgot to mention- with the $40 entry fee you get one pit pass for your buddy!

I recall it was $5 to watch and $7 for a pit pass last year.

I won't make it today, I'm moving into my new place today and tomorrow. But I'll keep my schedule open for two weeks from now.

I have to be in town that weekend to pick up my mom and uncle and Mike from the airport at 3pm Saturday, so maybe after that I can head out and watch.

Maybe...just maybe I might take Herbie there for some fun. The class Herbie will run in I will get my ass handed to me on a platter but it would still be fun just to go for the mud!

I ran the Truck Blazer today in Super Modified class (after fixing the axleshaft after we got there), and the launches (or lack of a launch) killed me each time so I got the 2 passes I expected and was done.

Jonny ran the Orange Blazer and won one, tied one, then lost a couple times.

I also ran the '93 Cummins tow rig in stock class, and due to a shifter linkage screw up, had a crappy 1st run, then actually went on to win two passes, then I lost to Lori who was running a 6.2 Diesel Chevy. It was only fair she won cause I beat her in our intermission runs when we took the soon to be bride and groom in side by side races in the two Diesels. She was just getting payback on me. It did decent for a heavy Cummins truck with all the stuff in the back (I did disconnect the trailer though).

Then at the end, Jonny and I ran against each other in the Orange Blazer and Truck Blazer for fun.

I have to admit, even though it cost me 80 bucks, it was a bunch of fun.
